Small businesses with little to no budgetary funds for technology equipment can really utilize cloud computing to meet their business needs, since something as simple as one smart phone can harness the power of a cloud. All storage and processing is done remotely and applications are able to be accessed through only a simple Internet connection.

Finally, since all data is stored remotely, cloud computing also offers the benefits of eliminating the need for portable storage software, such as thumb drives, CDs, DVDs and jump drives. All applications and documents can be accessed from the cloud server desktop platform, no downloading or file retrieving necessary.
